I am sorry I vanished for a few months; I was busy finishing up school and on vacation but now I am back and I thought I would start the day with the rapid fire book tag so let’s get started!
- E-book or Physical Book?
As hard as it may seem, I’ll go with E-Book. I love reading on my Kindle Paperwhite 2016, it is really convenient–I can have thousands of books on there and carry a two-pound device with me everywhere I go. And plus, the prices are way cheaper. But I do buy a few physical books like Tween fantasy books because they usually have a map in it!
2. Paperback or Hardcover?
Okay, this one is hard since I read a lot on my Kindle. I love how cheap and light the Paperback’s are, but they get damaged way too quickly so I will go with the expensive and heavy Hardcover.
3. Online or In-Store Book Shopping?
As much as I do love roaming around bookstores, I’ll go with online book shopping, the prices are way better and it is easier to find a book, #LOL
4. Trilogies or Series?
I’ll go with trilogies. I am horrible at finishing book series that you have to read in order, but with YA that doesn’t happen very often. With Middle-Grade you can read almost every series out of order. Trilogies are nice because they sometimes end with cliffhangers which I love and keep me going.
5. Heros or Villians?
Heros. I love the way heroes go through obstacles to kill the villains, it is just me.
6. A book you want everyone to read.
The Marked Girl by Lindsey Klingele, it is soo amazing! OMG! I just want the sequel because it left off with my dearest cliffhangers!
7. Recommend an underrated book!
I’ll go with the Marked Girl. Way more people should read the amazing 400-paged book and it has JessetheReader, PolandbananasBOOKS and Katytastic in the book trailer 🙂
8. The last book you bought?
I have no clue, #LOL, it has been a while… I have bought so many books that I still have to read.
9. Weirdest thing you have used as a bookmark?
Definitely a different book or my phone.
10. Used Books: Yes or No?
No. No explanation.
11. Top three favorite genres?
Mysteries/Spy, Fantasy and Magical Realism.
12. Borrow or Buy?
Buy. Since I live in Germany all of my friends read German so I have no other choice…
13. Characters or Plot?
Hm… This is a hard one but I’ll say plot. Characters are important to me, but if the plot isn’t interesting, I don’t read the books, even if the character relates to me.
14. Long or Short Books?
I’ll go with both. I typically like about 300-400 paged books, but over 500 pages, nah.
15. Name The First Three Books You Think Of…
The Marked Girl by Lindsey Klingele (awesome book, go buy it)
Inherited by Freedom Matthews (great book)
Magic – The Crest by Rena Marthaler (okay, this is my favorite mythology/fantasy book! It is short, but OMG! And it is middle-grade.)
16. Books That Makes You Laugh or Cry?
Laugh. I love laughing a lot. And I haven’t read a book yet that made me cry. Score.
17. Our World or Fictional Worlds?
I really like Fictional Worlds, but I love the reality in our world so I’ll go with that. If I could do both each would be 50/50.
18. Audiobooks: Yes or No?
I don’t really listen to Audiobooks, but I do like them so yes.
19. Do You Ever Judge a Book by its Cover?
It is a lie if I said I never did it. Period. (I mean, everybody does it or has done it! If not, you should be proud of yourself!)
20. Book to Movie or Book to TV Adaptations?
TV Adaptations. I love how there are episodes and sometimes seasons and the cliffhangers….
21. A Movie or TV-Show You Preferred to its Book?
The Maze Runner, I think. I didn’t read past the 100th page and I watched a little bit of the movie and that is amazing… Sorry maze runner fans…
22. Series or Standalones?
Hard to say. I love standalones because I don’t need to worry about reading the next book, but I love series when some books have cliffhangers so 50/5o.
That was it for today! I hope you guys enjoyed the tag and let me know in the comment section down below what you would like me to do in future blog posts, tags, first drafts etc. Thanks for stopping by!
